You Can Help Support Environmentally and Culturally Responsible Tourism in Ontario!

The Ontario Ecotourism Society is a provincial organization promoting the development and understanding of ecotourism and sustainable tourism practices in Ontario.  We are a not for profit network led by a volunteer board of directors, with a supporting membership comprised of operators, assocations, related institutions, travellers and supporters.

Who Should Join tOES?

There are many ways to get involved with the Ontario Ecotourism Society and support a responsible tourism community in Ontario.  Ecotourists, lodge owners, guides, tourism associations, teachers, students and green suppliers and professionals all make up an important network of like-minded individuals important to the growth of ecotourism in Ontario. 

How Can You Get Involved?

The Ontario Ecotourism Society has many membership types and benefits to suit a variety of individuals, professionals, operators, associations and responsible businesses.  You can get involved with tOES by:

  • becoming a member
  • listing in our Responsible Suppliers Guide
  • joining the board of directors
  • volunteering
  • sponsoring and developing a partnership
  • providing reciprocal support
